We would like to take this moment to recommend Andrew Austin of Austin Solar in moab Utah. We decided to put solar panels on our home during the summer of 2017. I am one of those people who do their homework meticulously. I researched the many solar panels and Micro Inverters, the actual manufacturers of product, their countries of origin and acquisitions, and installation companies. I checked pricing, actual panel costs, lead times, tax credits (Federal & State) with my tax accountant, as well as recommended roof requirements, and more. I seriously considered doing this project myself. After interviewing Andrew I was impressed with his knowledge and his insight was extremely reassuring. Andrew knows his business and he took plenty of time for me to quiz him and answered all my questions and concerns. Andrew did a extensive inspection of my roof, attic, electrical system requirements, etc. Andrew explained what was good and what changes/repairs were going to be needed to make this work. Everything I found out ahead of time Andrew addressed on his own including being up-to-date with all the tax credit rebate benefits.
Andrew informed me of a need to upgrade my circuit breaker box and provided an estimated cost. Andrew's total package cost, including added electrical required adjustment was by far the best price. However it was not the pricing that lead me to decide to hire Andrew to do this project. Andrew kept me informed during the complete hire decision process and continued the service throughout the complete project. Andrew set up the electrical repairs and met with a qualified local electrician company, fulfilled the required authorizations with the power company and met them for the on-sight inspection, filled out all the power company required paper work for us, put together the required paperwork for the State pre-approval for tax credits, and more.
After 6 months the system is working great with no flaws. Andrew set up an app where I can monitor the system at any time and he checks the output regularly for any concerns. We have had a surplus the last 3 months and we look forward to being able to use our air conditioning whenever we wish. I watched Andrew and his team do the installation process and it gave me great peace of mind to see high quality workmanship being done and seeing him using top-shelf quality materials built to last. We are so happy we went with Andrew and we have no reservations in recommending Andrew Austin and his company for your solar needs. We are pleased that after 6 months of operations we can give Andrew and his company a 5 star rating and truly appreciate the first class job he performed."
